Frets Collective is a relaxed, flexible workspace for getting things done. Whether you're studying, working remotely, creating, researching, writing or working on a personal project, the space gives you somewhere comfortable to focus outside of home.

Frets Collective is open to anyone who needs a dedicated space to work or focus. Students, academics, creatives, freelancers, remote workers and independent workers are all welcome.

Not at all. While Frets Collective has a creative feel, you don't need to be working on a creative project to use the space. If you need somewhere comfortable to study, work, write, research or focus, you're welcome.

Absolutely. The space is designed to provide a comfortable alternative to studying at home, in a library or in a busy café. Bring your laptop, books and whatever else you need and settle in for a focused work session.

Bookings are made online. Choose the date and time you'd like to use the space, complete your booking and you'll receive confirmation with everything you need before your visit.

Yes, but each person using the space needs their own booking. If you're coming with a friend, colleague or study partner, please make a separate booking for each person.

The studio has a maximum capacity of 3 people at any one time. This helps keep the space comfortable and functional for everyone.

Your booking includes access to the workspace, a desk and chair, power, basic stationery, air conditioning, fans, bathroom access, a sink, kettle, tea and coffee, a small speaker and a fridge. Wi-Fi will also be available once it is introduced to the space.

Yes. You're welcome to bring your own laptop, monitor, books, creative equipment or other items you need for your work, provided they're suitable for the space.

Yes. You're welcome to take calls and attend online meetings, but please be considerate of other people using the space and keep noise to a reasonable level.

Yes. You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks. There are also snacks and drinks available in the studio through our honesty-box system.

Potentially, yes. If you're planning a workshop, meeting, study group or other organised session, please get in touch first so we can make sure the space is suitable.

Please take your personal belongings and work with you when you leave unless you've made a separate arrangement with Frets Collective.

If you need additional time, you're welcome to make another booking if the space is available. Please make sure you leave at the end of your booked period if another booking follows yours.

Please arrive at the beginning of your booked period and leave when your booking finishes. This helps keep bookings running smoothly and gives everyone their full allocated time.

Please leave the space as you found it. Clean your workspace, return furniture and shared items to where you found them, dispose of any rubbish and take your belongings with you.

Frets Collective is designed as a self-directed workspace. You'll have the space to work independently during your booking and are responsible for looking after yourself, your belongings and the space.
